THE VETERAN'S HEART OF AMERICA PROGRAM
|
The Heart Of America Program brings University students from all over the
world, (it also includes American students) on a coast to coast journey to
discover the true heart of America. The students are driven by a Veteran who
insures their safety while at the same time they spend 12 days visiting the
sites of Cleveland, Chicago, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Santa Fe, The
Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco.
The main purpose and goal of the program is to put a never ending feeling of
likeness for the American Flag and the American people inside each and
every one of the participants. As the Founder always mentions.."If I don't see
tears in your eyes, when I drop you off at the San Francisco Airport..I haven't
done my job" Manny Dume hopes the program will grow where 1,000
participants will be able to complete the program in the next 24 months, and
many veterans will be able to earn some income while they conduct their job
searches, and at the same time they give the participants the patriotic feeling
for our flag that they carry inside their hearts.

In September of 2010 I organized and drove 5 students from the Ukraine and Turkey on a Coast to Coast adventure that took them from the Atlantic to the Pacific. As I said goodbye to them in San Francisco tears flowed, I new right away this is the way we can make the World a better place, show as many young men and women from all over the world the Heart of America. On my return back East I traveled for more then 30 days and more then 4,000 miles volunteering and living on the generosity and charitable giving of our Veteran's Centers, non profit organizations and generous individuals. I visited Veterans Medical Centers in 7 different states and spent time with our homeless veterans, I arrived in Orlando, Florida feeling humbled by the experience, I saw with my eyes the suffering of the unemployed, the homeless and the different problems our Veterans face, at the same time I witnessed the gentle heart and caring of our American citizens"

miles bringing more then 50 International students on his Coast to Coast adventure which
he first named the American Indoctrination Program, his High School Friend Tom Knudson
recommended the name change to "The Heart of America" and so it was done! Tom the CEO

program by providing him with the 15 passenger Van and all the insurances needed to get
the program started.
